The Spirit World

The Missionaries Will Teach...

Even though Jesus conquered death, we are all going to die because death is a part of God's plan.  When we die, our spirits and bodies are separated.  Our bodies go to the grave and our spirits go to the spirit world.  In the spirit world, we still have our thoughts, personalities, habits, and desires for good and evil.  People who were righteous in life and chose to obey God will live in a state of happiness, peace and rest from troubles and care.  Those who did not repent and live righteous lives will be miserable in the spirit world.  In the spirit world, the gospel will be preached to the people who didn't obey the gospel or have the opportunity to hear it while on earth.  We'll remain in the spirit world until we are resurrected.
